- Property & Tenant Data: The app allows you to input property details, tenant information, rent records, and documents.
- Device Data: We may access device storage strictly to save necessary application files (such as receipt images or local databases).
2. How We Store Your Data
We prioritize your privacy by utilizing a local-first architecture:
- Local Storage: Your property and tenant data, including sensitive documents and photos, are stored securely within the local sandbox of your device.
- Biometric Security: Finax utilizes your device's native biometric authentication (Fingerprint/FaceID) or PIN to protect sensitive actions. We do not collect, process, or transmit your biometric data to any external servers.
3. Google Drive Integration (Backups)
To prevent data loss, Finax offers a backup feature using your personal Google Drive account:
- We request specific permissions to upload a secure, temporary backup file containing your local database and documents to your Google Drive.
- We only access the specific backup files created by Finax. We do not view, modify, or delete any other files in your Google Drive.
- Once the backup is uploaded, any temporary files created on your device during the process are securely deleted.
4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information or tenant data to outside parties. All data remains between your device and your personal Google Drive.

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
